I Leap! I miss! The butterfly
Taunts me from the rosebush
I am sleek, I am powerful
My Coat like silk
I allow servant to stroke my back
Before I attack! Attack!
I guard house from vermin
I place trophy on sleeping
Servant�s Pillow to admire.
I am beautiful. I am sexy
My Lovers fight! Fight!
Under servant�s bedroom window
Very noisy.
I am up above the world
So High where the Birds Are
What a prize I bring you!
My husband found ahalf-grown orange tabby out at one of his commercial pools. His people had moved off and abandoned him. He was living off scraps, his own hunting skills, and the kindness of strangers. Vernon brought him home and we christened him �Shere Khan� after the tiger in the Disney movie �Jungle Book�. He lives with us today and is a good "uncle" to any kittens brought home.
